It's MONDAY MOMMY TALK TIME!!!!!!!

How did you tell your spouse/sig. other you were pregnant?
Was he happy, surprised, upset, worried, etc.?
How did you feel?

Well, I don't remember the exact date but I do know it was late morning, and I was almost certain I was pregnant. It was a Saturday, I told Trav that I hadn't gotten my period yet and that I had a feeling that I was pregnant. Hew as like. "Oh you are not, you're jsut worrying about it too much, but if you are, we will be just fine." I always knew that Trav would be an AMAZING father, just from his personality, and the way he interacted with my nephew. So I headed out to good ole' trusty Wal-Mart to pick up a test. I picked up one of the tests that have two in a pack, and it was the kind that actually said "pregnant" or "not preganant". When I got home, Trav was in the garage with our friend Larry working on their derby cars, having a good time.

I went in, peed on the stick thingy and waited for what seemed an eternity, but it IMMEDIATLY said pregnant! the first thing that came to my mind was, "WHAT?!, Holy cow, am I really pregnant?" And then it all made sense. A few weeks earlier I had been getting really, really dizzy, and faint, i had had several bolldy noses for no appearant reason at all, my sense of smell had gotten the ebvst of me at times, etc.

I was filled with complete happiness/nervousness, thinking to myself, "Oh my gosh, am I going to be able to do this? So I went outside called Travis in and told him, he was happy as can be. He hugged me abd said we can do this, everything is ging to bge alright. I felt relieved b/c I was super excited. I called my sister and she was so excited she rushed right over , but I still coldn't believe ie. It was like it wasn't real, ya know? I wouldn't change anything, we both were so happy and I'm am so lucky to have the support I do/did.

I had the crazy smell thing too, just not the dizzy and bloody nose thing. WOW! It's neat to see how Landen came about...

Yup - I had those awful bloody noses with Kayla. It lasted through the winter. Horrible. I was thrilled to not have that the 2nd time around.

Great story.

I love reading stories of finding out when pregnant - it doesn't seem real in the beginning does it?
