Overload

Just writing to let you all know I will probably be MIA for the next day or two, I am crazy -swamped at work and hardly have time to breathe, so I hope you all have a super-duper fantastic weekend and I will try to update as soon as I can. Love.

Prepare to laugh at the picture

So don't be scarred when you see this picture, it's just me, but it's me covered in mud. I had my first facial, and it ROCKED!!!!!!!!!! First I had my toes re-polished, and if I may add they look lovely.
Then my good friend Selina goes to school for skincare at the Salon Pro Academy and she does all sorts of wonderful things to pamper you. So I am going to get another facial soon, and I have decided I am going to get an Herbal Body Wrap. I can't wait. If any of you have never had one, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to one b/c they certainly are wonderful. (I though I look crazy in this cellphone picture) LOL!!!!

Well my dad called me today and asked if we wanted to "get rid of Landen for a day" I had to laugh b/c we would never get rid of him, and I know what he means so it's kind of a little joke. He said that he is picking up my nephew on Sunday afternoon and wanted to know if Landen would like to come. Would He ?!! He LOVES (I can't even express it enough how much he loves) his cousin. So, they are going to spend the night with pappa and grandma chris on their farm.

My dad has two goats and chickens and cats on his farm. One of the chickens just had baby chicks so he thought the boys would get a real kick out of seeing them, and also one of the cats just had baby kittens. They have lots of room to run and play and just be "boys". We will have some time to relax then.

We found out that we were having aboy so we eliminated all the cute girls names. We chose Landen, Landen Shawn to be exact. I saw the name in a baby magazine and we both immediately loved it. For the first couple of months we struggled on a name that we "both" liked and this happened to be the one, it definitely fits!

GREY'S, I love you!

I can not get enough of this show, anyone else that watches this program knows exactly what I'm talking about. Last night's episode.....oh man, the suspense! Berke & Christina...hello! My opinion is that Izzy and George need to be together, they obviously love one another, however I do enjoy Calli, but she is not "for" George, she is just not his type. I'm still in shock over last night's episode and don't know if I can wait til next season, what am I going to do on Thursday nights after Landen goes to bed?! If anyone else has any input or comments on last night's show please share with me, I'm dying to hear what other people thought.

Deke Sleyton Airfest this weekend!

Well this weekend is the air fest, we love going to it. It is so amazing how low the jets get and it is incredibly loud! We get a great view of the show b/c we are just on the other side of the river and they fly pretty much right over our house, and the daycare Landen attends. Well yesterday was the 1st practice in La Crosse and all the daycare kiddos went out side to watch the planes, Landen and a few other kids were sooooooooo scared, b/c it is SO loud and one of his teachers was holding him b/c he was screaming and so clung onto her he dug his nails right into her skin. As a matter of fact I'm on the south side of La Crosse and I can hear them as I type.

So my dad picked Landen up from school (that's what I call it) and they bummed around for a bit and my dad pointed out the jets to Landen, and he did the same thing. I wonder why he is so scared, I mean I know it's loud but he has been that way with anything slightly loud since he was brand-new. Poor little guy, I want him to be able to enjoy this but I think it's going to be awhile.

And these are for DUMMIES?

If these books are for dummies, I must be REALLY stupid then, b/c just skimming over the book I was confused.

Landen, Landen, Landen..Mommy loves you.

Well today is just like any other day only Landen feels the need to be slightly "naughtier" than usual. He's in his chair eating his breakfast and has his sippy there and when he's "ah dun" (all done of course) he throw's everything on the floor, sometimes he will throw something so hard it will fly across the kitchen. Thank goodness for our Boxer, Hoya. She is right there just praying and waiting for waffles to land in front of her feet.

So this morning he says "ah dun" and does the sign language for it, so I though I had a little time before he threw it...................I was wrong. He threw the cup on the floor and it's those cheap plastic ones that you can throw away (I will not name the brand however I will never buy them again b/c the lids pop right off!) so the top came flying off and juice went all over the floor, and of course Hoya was outside doing her thing so I got down and cleaned it all up, and he just thinks it's funny.

Man, I tell ya this game is getting real old and I do not know how to correct it, if it's even correctable.

Landen's face is so funny. I had no idea his eyes were open! Poor guy, hated being under there. I seem to have some sort of "Flock of Seagulls" hairstyle goin' on! (lol) I ALWAYS have rosey cheeks, they are even rosie under water. If you click on the picture to enlarge it, go look at my cheeks, it's weird, kind of funny actually.
