As you all know I am the PROUD mother of a sweet ,sweet almost 17 month old. He has changed our lives in so many ways it is amazing. However being cute and innocent also comes with being quite testy.
The other night after supper and a bath, we were trying to settle down and have quiet time in order to get Landen ready for bed. Well, he wasn't havin' it, he wanted to play some more, so fine, whatever, go play, have fun, THEN we will try to put you down.
Like he always does, he found the telephone, it's usually sitting on the coffee or the floor. He will press buttons (it's usally the big talk button) and put the phone up to his ear and walk around saying " Ello...ello...ello" like he's talknig to somebody VERY important. It's quite cute/humorous, he is dang adoreable I must say so myself.
So after awhile of walking around talking to who I think is actually no one, I finally get him to sit and cuddle in my lap to get ready to go "nigh-nigh" (night night). I noticed that the phone was off the hook and just had Trav hang it up.
not 2 seconds later did the phone ring, and who was it? "Hi this is Tony from the 911 dispatch, is everyone alright? Trav was like, "Who is this?" He completely though it was a prank caller. "This is Tony from 911, soemone has called from this number and I need to know if everyone is alright. " And they are going back adn fourth ad Trav started apologizing profusely. I at this point still had no clue who he was talking to.
They hung up the phone and it actually was 911. My sweet little innocent 17 month old Landen called 911, not once but two times!
Wwe were so embarassed, and then the police showed up, holy cow! Needless to say Landen really cheesed it up for the police officer.
He will never see that phone again, I think I need to go find him his own play phone.
