Ahhhh, yeah, tonight was a little bit harder without the nuk, lots of crying and asking for it, we wanted to cave BUT we didn't. It's kind of sad that he is so incredibly attached to that stupid thing, but finally he tired himself out enough and fell asleep. Poor guy.

Poor thing - they say three days to unbreak a habit but if you have stubborn kids (I DO) it take a LITTLE longer!!! Good luck!
Congratulations to you for sticking to your guns! Jake is only allowed his binkies when he's in the crib these days - we are too scared to take it away cold turkey!
Keep it up mommy! Great job Landen!
Yep...our little man is quite attached to his as well! 2 years is our cuttof, and that's coming up next month! Good job not giving in!
My sister-in-law cut the tips off of her son's "nuk" and continued giving them to him if he asked. It didn't take too long for him to dislike the "nuk", an didn't want it any more! Maybe we'll try that!
Ours never took to nuks just thumbs. Hmmm...can't really chop the thumb off! ; )
Good job for holding strong!
