Kim, I would SUE!

Only kidding, but don't you really wish you could?!

Poor Landen...I heard once of a mother biting her child to teach him not to do it anymore....maybe teach Landen to bite a chunk out of this little cannibal...then he'll never mess with LANDEN again!!!!! (kidding, again)

I know right? I know it's part of the "age" or whatever but it's just so incredibly hard to see your child get hurt like this.

Wow at this point, the day care should be taking some kind of action. Most day care centers I worked at the third bite was kids way out the door. Im so sorry kim, that really sucks. I hope hes ok.

He's alright for sure,a nd I am certain;y not postingf this to get pitty but just to vent, ya know? It just sucks b/c I know that biting is part of this age, but Landen has NEVER done this to a kid, he's bitten backa few times but certainly not even close to breaking skin, I think we have only signed a few accident reports stating that he bit a kid at school, and I kniow for a fact taht we have signed well over 20 accident reports that he has been BITTEN. I really do love our daycare and don't want to take him out, he is however transferring to the "2 year old room" right now so they think that he will get away from all of this biting, thank goodness.

That's awful!! :( Jake left his daycare shortly before he had to go into the 1 year old room. Glad to know that's what I avoided... Ugh. Hopefully the 2 year old room will be better for Landen. If it is the same kid biting others (and biting them so hard!) over and over, I wold really see if there was any way that kid could be put on probation. (A three strikes you're out kind of policy maybe?) That is just NOT COOL.

Wow! That's pretty bad - what do the teachers say? That's crappy - not what you want at the end of a long day! Hopefully the 2 year old room will be much better - and I am with Jennisa - teach that Landen to BITE BACK!

The teachers are working on it and fully aware of how bad itis getting but they just keep encouraging thefact that he will be transferring to the 2 year oild room, HOWEVER, the kid that is biting will eventually be in that romo also, so it's not really like he's getting away from him/her.

POOR KIDO! MAn! I remember when I was young my little brother was a biter....my parents tried everything....in the church nursery he always bit the same kid too? It was the strangest thing...eventaully he stoped, but I think my parents may have taken him out to nursery I can't remember.....I don't know why some kids bite so much....For landen's sake I hope it stops soon!

I'm right there with you...I don't think Drew ever got any this bad, but I think things will be better in the 2 year old room and I think it will be awhile before the biter is with them, if it's who i think it is...and maybe by then he/she will have growen out it...I wish I kept track of ow many of those stupids reports we signed saying Drew got bit.
