And here is mine...

I have met another Boxer Owner Lover in this world, Rainy Day Diamonds.

She has posted a blog about how Neurotic Exciteable her Boxer is. I.Can.Relate.

LaHoya is an incredibly hyperactive annoyance excitable 3 year old dog. She is immeasurably forbearing with our 2 year old child. One of the main reasons we picked a Boxer pup is for their love and patience towards children.

Here are some facts about our sweet girl:

  • She HAS to be touching you, whether she's sitting on your lap or her chin on your knee

  • She HAS to sleep under the covers at night

  • She takes her food out of her bowl a couple pieces at a time, takes it to the carpet a eats it there (I think she is OCD)

  • She drools an exuberance amount at the site of fruit

  • She DOES box, and she throws a mean right hook for sure.

  • She has an excessive flatulance problem

  • She always, always, always is licking you/me/her/him, wehate LOVE it. (Insert sarcasm here)
  • She always seems to be making Landen mad......even just by standing there, poor girl.

Hoya.... We love you for putting up with our neglect and Landen's abuse. You are the best dog we could've gotten and you will learn to just stay away from Landen some day. He DOES love you.

My name is Megan and I am not even sure how I came across your blog but I have been reading it for a little while now. I have never posted but this entry hit home! I am 20 years old and ever since I was 9 I have grown up with Boxers. My parents got two girls at one time. They are ABSOLUTELY the best with children. I would dress mine up, ride on their back, and pull on them like crazy! Just recently we lost both of ours. One died of old age and we believe the other did of a broken heart! I so understand your LOVE for a boxer!!

We don't have a boxer, but we do have a yellow lab who puts up with so much abuse from our two year old son. He loves to be around us and our son, but I don't know how he puts up with what my son deals. I'm sure Hoya loves Landen like a brother and in time, Landen will treat Hoya better!

*LOL* We call Dayzee the "Drive By Eater" because she snags a couple bites of food, circles the dining room table while she chomps then moves back in for another bite.

So funny!

Hey Kim! So weird about the yellow exclamation/error you got when trying to post. Was that on my site?? I hope not! I hope my settings aren't messing up and preventing people from posting. I've never blocked anyone!

Okay- 2 other things... cute dog and SUPER cute haircut! Is that new? Love it! I have had long hair since I was born... seriously- it's ridiculous. I'm such a chicken. I just need to take the plundge and cut it off!

That is a cute face for sure! Dogs are the best - Georgia is constantly getting pulled, "hugged" kissed and moved but she just takes it!
