This is the only shot I got of the eclipse last night. It's not that great but it was waaaay too cold to be out at 9pm.

We are also home today with pink eye. Not me, the munchkin. He woke up this morning really peeved b.c he could not open his eye lids at all. Poor guy, I felt so bad for him. It was pretty nasty.

It was too cold here last night to be outside long too, I watched from my bedroom window until the clouds got in the way, then looked again a litlte while later ;0)
I hope your little one is feeling better soon!

Thanks for dropping by my place earlier.

Just thought I'd stop by and bring you a cupcake! :-) I love your blog and your photography site, too. I'll add it to my favorites...photography is something I would really LOVE to gain more knowledge and experience in...ever since I "inherited" my dad's old SLR Canon years ago (way before digital!). I hope the pink eye doesn't last too long...

Wasn't it cool?? I actually had a perfect view from right out our front window, so I was able to watch it from about 8 pm until 10 when it was totally over. It was fun to show the kids! I didn't think to take a picture of the eclipse, but I did take a nice picture of the moon about 2 hours prior- it was HUGE and yellow- beautiful! I'll probably post it some time.
