I dont know but I am in the same boat..though the stomach flu i have has made drop 10 lbs lol. If you get any good ideas let me know.
Weight Watchers is a great program if you stick to the program. It really isn't a diet but a lifestyle change. You learn how to eat! It's really not too expensive either.
Weight Watchers is so much calculating and what not, I don want to make changes in my life style bu REALISTIC ones
Sadly, I know exactly what you mean... My picture is rarely on my blog either, unless it is taken at *just* the right angle, with no extra chins showing - ha!
Here's another vote for Weight Watchers. I'm on week 2 myself. It helps if you can join with a buddy sometimes, but if not, we could be virtual Weight Watchers support buddies. :) I joined with my husband's aunt. I was so excited at my 3.6 pound weight loss this week... until I heard she lost 6 pounds! Argh. Oh well.
It works if you stick to it, and is usually around $12 a week. You don't have to buy any kind of special food or anything. I KNOW it works.
I think we were commenting at the same time...
Weight Watchers works on a point system - each food has a point value and you will very quickly memorize the points of each of you favorite foods.
Example - This morning I had my cereal (3 pts), one cup of skim milk (2 pts), an apple (1 pt), etc.
Subtract the points from your daily point allowance (based on age, height, current weight, etc).
It's not as hard as some other diet plans would like you to believe :) And it is sustainable. No food is illegal. You just eat less of it.
Heya Kim! You know I think your beautiful! I think the extra weight is our reminder of the kids we carried, right? :)
Seriously, though...whenever I stop driking pop I usually loose a few pounds that way. I hate diets and excersise, and I LOVE food, so I'm not one to give advice. The only reason I've lost a little is from the b-feeding! :)
I love YOU YOU YOU!
Ok - Weight Watchers DOES work and it's easy once you get the hang plus if you go in to get weighed you are tooo shamed if you haven't lost any weight - QUITE a motivator! I cut out ALL carbonated drinks (diet or otherwise) they bloat you and the sodium is horrible - Cut out MOST things white and atart walking!
I think you look GREAT but I know what its like to feel yuck so just remember you ARE what you EAT!!!
I too have to tip my hat to weight watchers, no i havent done it myself, but have seen results on other folks..
and one more thing... drink lots of
H2O.. it flushes your system, and helps you lose the water weight that a one carries around with them, and if you feel bloated, drink warm H2O with lemon..
I think that you beautiful no matter what you look like. You need to feel positive about your self (even overweight) and nobody will notice. You are an amazing mother, sister, friend, etc that if people can't love you no matter what you look like then they are not worth you time. Plus, I will push them down in a big dirty puddle for you. I love you!
