After supper tonight at Big Al's with my my good friend Jilly I had to run out to Gap to get a cute baseball cap for Landen to wear to his valentines day party at school on Thursday.
I was shopping around, finding waaaaaaay too many cute things (like always).
I brushed my hand up against my coat pocket and felt something wet on my hand, looked at my coat pocket and saw there was a wet residue there as well. I mumbled to myself and to the Gap clerk and we were puzzled.
"It's coming from your purse!" she squeeled.
I have this gigantic red shoudler bag mind you so anything could be causing this wetness, well not really but there is so much stuff in there that it's ridiculous.
I looked down and there was a stream, yes a stream a liquid spraying out from the bottom corner of my big red bag.
I looked inside and there it was the culprit...
Yes.. a diet coke had been punctured by "something" in my bag and was literally spraying everything and everywhere. There was a thick stream of diet coke leaking out of the bottom of my nice red bag.
I was so embarrassed and the lady working at the Gap was laughing so hard and I was frantically trying to figure out what to do.
Well... needless to say we got it all cleaned up off the floor (in numerous places), and off the checkout counter.
Never put a can of soda IN.YOUR.PURSE.

oh, brother. i hate messes. i hate messes in public. and i hate wasting perfectly good diet coke!
HA! That's no good! Could it have frozen at some point? The can could have frozen, the diet coke could have expanded and punctured the can. I've heard of that happening in freezers, cars, etc. I know the weather is cold there... What a mess! :(
yes you do have a huge bag...and i can totally see you freaking out as to what it could be & digging thru the bag!! And of course it had to be in a public place! LOL....funny!!
